1. Shipping • Expedited Parcel • Canada-Wide
i. Rates:
- $17 - orders under $39
- $12 - orders $39 to $78.99
- $7 - orders $79 to $118.99
- FREE SHIPPING - orders $119+

ii. Fulfilment Dates & Shipping Timelines:

Once dispatched, the average fulfillment timelines for Canada Post Expedited Parcels are as follows:
- Southwestern Ontario & Greater Toronto Area ~ 2-3 business days
- Remainder of Ontario ~ 3-6 business days
- Urban Areas in the Provinces of Canada ~ up to 7 business days
- Remainder of Canada ~ up to 12 business days
*Spruce Moose cannot guarantee shipment arrival for a specific day*
iii. Shipping Eligibility & Info:
- Shipping available Canada-wide, including PO boxes, via Canada Post Expedited Parcel service; tracking numbers provided in shipping confirmation email.
- During peak season, shipping service is sometimes also made available using UPS; this service covers most of Canada, but cannot ship to PO boxes.
- At checkout, expedited parcel shipping will either display as "Shipping" or as "Canada Post - Expedited Parcel, TRACKED"; regardless, both titles are the same Canada Post Expedited Parcel shipping service.
2. Lettermail • Untracked • Canada-Wide
Economical & relatively low-risk, but slower delivery & not risk-free.
i. Rates
- FREE Lettermail, UNTRACKED - on eligible orders $24+
- $1.25 Lettermail, UNTRACKED - on eligible orders $18-$23.99
- $2.25 Lettermail, UNTRACKED - on eligible orders $10-$17.99
- $2.95 Lettermail, UNTRACKED - on eligible orders $0-$9.99

ii. Eligibility
Many smaller items (most of our greetings cards, postcards, stickers, patches, tea towels, 5"x7" prints, 8"x10" prints, etc.) are generally eligible for Untracked Lettermail Shipping, when available. Product limitations on this shipping method are largely governed by Canada Post and are based on a maximum allowable lettermail thickness & weight.
If your order is eligible for Untracked Lettermail Shipping, this shipping option will display for you at checkout. All items in your cart need to be eligible for untracked lettermail shipping otherwise this shipping option will not display at checkout. See all eligible items here.
iii. Logistics
- We generally package all Untracked Lettermail orders in quality rigid cardstock bend-resistant mailers, but you assume the risks during transit when choosing this option; more packaging info & disclaimers in section iv.
- In rare cases, we still reserve the right to upgrade any untracked lettermail order to expedited shipping (at our expense and for any reason) if we deem it to be more cost-effective or necessary for the ordered items (such as for a large order); we will not request a signature on delivery (the small parcel will ideally be left in your mailbox), and the risks you assume stay the same as with Untracked Lettermail.
- We may split your order into more than one Untracked Lettermail parcel if your order exceeds allowable weight or thickness for Canada Post's oversized lettermail requirements or if we're worried about one item damaging another inside the package; if your order is in multiple lettermail shipments it will be clearly identified for you on the parcels.
- This shipping option is only available to a cart containing exclusively eligible items; if your order is ineligible, the Untracked Lettermail Shipping option will not display at checkout; don't forget we offer very reasonable shipping rates on our tracked shipments (as detailed in section 1).
iv. Risks & Disclaimer
- Untracked Lettermail Shipping is uninsured and untracked; as soon as the shipment is dispatched from Spruce Moose it becomes the property & the responsibility of the buyer.
- We will photo-document the dispatch of your parcel, but any Untracked Lettermail orders lost or damaged during the delivery process are not the responsibility of Spruce Moose. Lettermail is very reliable, but you accept the risks when choosing Untracked Lettermail; there is unfortunately no recourse for lost, damaged, or delayed parcels. We carefully pack all stationery / untracked lettermail orders in rigid bend-resistant mailers and do everything we can to ensure the parcel arrives to you in pristine condition, but we unfortunately are unable to make delivery guarantees when shipping Untracked Lettermail. We will ship to the address provided at checkout and will reach out ahead of dispatch if something seems incorrect, but it is ultimately the responsibility of purchaser to ensure the shipping address is entered correctly during checkout. If there is an issue with delivery that was our fault, we will ensure a replacement is dispatched immediately. Please see our refund policy for more details about undelivered or lost Untracked Lettermail. Please choose expedited shipping if you require tracking and insurance on your parcel!
- Please keep in mind that lettermail can sometimes take weeks to arrive, but we're quite confident it will! *Lost lettermail is extremely rare and has thankfully never happened for us to-date; it's much more likely to be returned to us due to incorrect address details, etc, in which case we would issue a refund*
3. Pick-Up • Spruce Moose Market Store
i. Pick-Up Eligibility & Info:
Placing an order for Pick-Up - remember to use promo code "PICK UP ONLY"; this discount code voids any shipping and can only be used for pick-up orders:
- Your order will not be shipped.
- Your order must be picked-up in-person at The Market Store during any designated weekend hours - open Saturdays 8am-3pm & Sundays 10am-2pm. Please refer to the Pick Up dropdown for our most up-to-date information on pick-up dates & times.
- Your order will be assembled and neatly bagged, but will not be formally wrapped, boxed, or packaged.
- Please don't feel rushed to pick up your order, but if your order has not been picked up for more than a month, we may send an occasional pickup reminder email; if your order has not been picked up after 4 months, we will cancel and refund the order (minus a 3% deduction for the credit card processing fee that we have to remit).
ii. Picking-Up Your Order at The Market Store:
- Your order is ready for pick up at your convenience Saturdays 8am-3pm or Sundays 10am-2pm (during Western Fair Market's retail hours), regardless of when you place your order!
- For order pickup, please simply provide your name; you must be able to provide either your order number or confirmation email, if requested.
iii. Pricing Policy for Pick Up Orders:
Use promo code "PICK UP ONLY", eligible only when picking up your order.
Our in-store prices may differ from our online prices. We offer tax-included pricing as an in-store promotion; using the discount code "PICK UP ONLY" for pick-up orders will provide you with discounted prices that generally match our in-store pricing. Regardless of your online payment method (credit card, gift card, etc), if for any reason you do happen to pay at least $3 more for your pick-up order than you would've paid in-store, we will print out a Spruce Moose Gift Card worth the exact difference (redeemable in-person & online) and include it in your pickup order!

4. Local Delivery • London + Kilworth ON
- During checkout, the LOCAL DELIVERY option is displayed as a Shipping option for eligible orders.
- Please note that this option may not be offered at any given time.
i. Rates:
- FREE Local Delivery - on orders $60+
- $4 Local Delivery - on orders $40-$59.99
- $7 Local Delivery - on orders $25-$39.99

ii. Local Delivery Eligibility:
A. Local Delivery is currently available on orders over $25 with LONDON + KILWORTH ADDRESSES ONLY (postal codes beginning with N6, N5V, N5W, N5X, N5Y, or N5Z, or postal code N0L1R0).
B. Local Delivery is most-suited for addresses that have a suitable safe drop-off location, such as a porch, a doorstep, between front doors, or with a receptionist. We will attempt to hand-off your order and/or will leave it in what we deem to be the safest-available place if handoff isn't possible. If your delivery address / our delivery timeframe isn't the most suitable for a parcel to be dropped, please consider Market Pick-Up or arranging with a London friend or family member who better fits these local delivery criteria.
C. If we are unable to complete the handoff and deem that there is no safe place available to leave your order (such as at a high-rise where we're unable to enter), we will bring your order to our Market Store. We will notify you if we intend to attempt delivery again during our next local delivery date (often ~1 week later) or if we require you to pick up at the Market Store.
D. We currently specify a date and timeframe for your local delivery; although we can't fully guarantee this exact timing, we will do everything possible to deliver within the specified timeframe. We currently specify our delivery timeframe in order to help you plan/decide whether the option of local delivery works for you for receiving your order at that given time.
E. Please refer to the Local Delivery dropdown for current rates and up-to-date information on Porch Drop dates; the next porch drop date will also display as a shipping option at checkout if your postal code is within the delivery zone.
E. Local deliveries will be facilitated directly by the Spruce Moose team, a direct Spruce Moose representative, or by Uber Direct.
iii. Porch Drop Limitations:
a. Your order will not be mailed.
b. We will attempt handoff and/or your order will be left outside of your home on the specified drop day; we will choose the safest available location; once dropped, you will immediately be notified by email and/or text message.
c. Only the specified drop-off day is available. Currently, drop-offs will be scheduled approximately once every week, with the next date shown at checkout. We are unable to accommodate specific requests for drop-off days. We also reserve the right to postpone a drop-off day by 1-2 days in the case of very bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.
d. Your order will be assembled and adequately bagged, but it will not be formally wrapped, boxed, or packaged like it would for parcel shipping.
