Returns and Refunds

We stand by our products. If you are not satisfied with your order, we're here to help!

For purchases made in-store:

  • We offer a generous 4-month (123 day) return & refund policy for in-store purchases.

For purchases made online:

  • If you are able to return or exchange your online purchase in-store (we appreciate it!), we offer our generous 4-month (123 day) return policy.
  • If you are returning or exchanging your item via shipping, we offer free returns within 14 days of receiving your online order and will email you with a pre-paid shipping label that you can print. We are happy to offer an extended 60-day return shipping period, but your return shipping cost is your responsibility after the first 14 days have passed.
  • You will receive a full refund of the full amount paid once we have received and inspected your return and deemed it to be in good condition; if your order contained multiple items and only a portion are being returned, we will generally proportionately refund the shipping costs you paid (if any) when ordering; however, in these partial-return situations, we reserve the right to not reimburse any of the shipping costs paid for a partial order return, particularly if we sense any advantage-taking of the policy understanding that we offer reduced-shipping-at-higher-order-value thresholds. (The costs of shipping within Canada are high for small businesses, and our customer-facing shipping prices are already less than what we pay to ship, especially for our discounted shipping rates that we offer at higher order thresholds; thank you for understanding!)

Exceptions to our return and refund policies:

  • Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original product packaging, with no visible signs of wear or use. 

  • Final Sale items are non-refundable and non-returnable.

  • Earrings are considered Final Sale for hygienic reasons.

  • Gift Cards are ineligible for returns; however, they never expire.

To begin the return process:

Please visit us in-store any Sat 8-3 or Sun 10-2 with your items.
Please bring your receipt, order confirmation, OR the last 4 digits of your payment card used in-store.

Exchanges:

If you'd prefer to exchange, we have a few options for you!

In-person: This option is available regardless of if you purchased online or in-store! Simply come to the shop any Sat 8-3 & Sun 10-2. We can't guarantee that we'll have exactly what you're looking for in-stock when you come in, so please feel free to contact us if you'd like to inquire about a specific style/size/colour ahead of time; if we have the item available or arriving shortly, we would be happy to hold any specific item(s) for you for up to 3 weeks to help facilitate your in-person exchange!

Online: Thank you for understanding that not everyone will actually send back their returned item to us; we can only dispatch an exchanged item when the original item is received back to us in good condition. If you would like us to dispatch your exchanged item when we receive the return of your original item, please let us know in your return/exchange email. Alternatively, if you are eager to receive your replacement and it is in stock online, you can consider requesting a return on the original purchase (rather than an exchange) and placing a new online order entirely. You'll have 2 open orders until we receive your return & refund your original order. As mentioned, as long as your portion of the return process for the returned item is done within 14 days, you will receive a refund on the item/order & the return shipping cost will also be covered.


    Undelivered / lost-in-transit / stolen items:

    • If your tracked item is considered lost-in-transit (no tracking updates for over 1 week), please contact us and we will file an inquiry with the shipper; for truly lost-by-the-carrier tracked parcels we will ensure you receive a full refund.
    • If your tracked parcel is delivered but then stolen before retrieval, we are unable to process a refund more than what can be reimbursed by the shipping carrier; please contact us in this situation, but please choose your delivery address and timing accordingly knowing it is your responsibility once the parcel is out of the shipping carrier's hands.
    • If your tracked or untracked item was undeliverable (wrong address provided by customer, not retrieved from post office, etc) and was then returned back to us by the shipping carrier, we will process a full refund of your order MINUS the cost we paid for the shipping label (which is almost always more than the tiered (or free) shipping rate that was paid by the customer at checkout).
    • If you placed an order and selected Untracked Lettermail and it was lost-in-transit, we unfortunately cannot provide a refund. (We know it's not because of you, but this is the policy we need to abide by for offering untracked items in an online world, unfortunately!) Please keep in mind that lettermail often can take weeks to arrive, but we're so confident it will! *Lost lettermail is extremely rare and has never happened for us; it's much more likely to be returned to us due to incorrect address details, etc - in this case, you would be refunded as per the above policy*

    Damages and issues:

    We're so sorry for any inconvenience!! In this situation, we offer the same generous free return/exchange policy as above - please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is damaged so that we can make it right.

    Issuing refunds:

    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 
    If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us.

    We truly believe in the products we offer and think you’ll love them too! We know sometimes a shirt might be too big or a gift recipient wants a different colour - returns and exchanges are always welcomed. As we are a small business, and free returns come with a cost on our end, we thank you in advance for trying your best to exchange in person, measuring your favourite shirt for reference before ordering, and above all thank you for supporting local artists!
